We have received several new A/V receivers! The Pioneer Elite VSX 52 is going to be a great buy! It has been burned in and tested in our demo room and the results were impressive. It has 110W X 7 , THX Select 2 Plus, Virtual Depth, Height or Surround Back options and the Marvell Qdeo 1080p/24fps Video Scaler. Home Network features include AirPlay, Internet Radio with tuner, PANDORA, Sirius, Rhapsody, Windows 7, Home Media Gallery, and ability to play back FLAC & WAV 192kHz/24 bit music files. It sounds good--drop by and take a listen. As always the Pioneer Elite pieces can be controlled with an iPod, iPhone or iPad.

No news on Pioneer Elite Blu Ray players. Pioneer's new panels are going to be available for viewing the end of the month!

We also received a Denon AVR 3312 and are in process of "breaking" it in. Preliminary listening indicates that it will be another good piece from Denon. It is part of the IN-Command series new this year from Denon. Network features include AirPlay, Internet radio, Pandora, flickr, Napster and Rhapsody. A Denon remote App is available for ann iDevices. An Android app should be available this fall. This unit has 125W x 7 with dual subwoofer outs. It has assignable rear surround amplifier channel. Video upscaling to 1080p is provided on the HDMI out.

Sonos is here! With its mesh network technology you have instant access to music from a variety of sources--internet radio, PC, or on line music services including Wolfgang's vault! It is fast, easy and fun. Set up is easy and allows you to have music in one room or all over the house without adding wires. A variety of products allow you to use your own speakers or use the S5 Zone player which has built in speakers. System control is available from your PC, iPhone, iPad, iTouch or the Sonos controller.
